NORTIG

Liquid waterproofing membrane

Description

NORTIG is a water-based system made up of an aqueous dispersion of polymers, modifiers, additives and fillers.

After curing, the product offers good waterproofing and weatherproofing properties.

NORTIG is available in three standard colours: white, grey, red, plus additional ones on request.

Usage field

NORTIG is used to produce waterproofing membranes in situ:

  • on flat roofs (walkable or not);
  • on terraces, balconies, terraced roofs and valleys.

You can glue tiles directly onto NORTIG.

Packaging

5, 10 and 20 kg containers

Application

Substrate Preparation

  • thoroughly clean and remove all loose particles;
  • compensate holes and depressions with RASANTE 1200 or GROVE RAPIDO 1200;
  • if needed, ensure that there is a proper slope for water runoff.

Primer

  • to absorbent substrates (screeds) apply one layer of PRIMER SOLPLAST or PRIMER W;
  • to old bituminous membranes apply a thin layer of PRIMER SOLPLAST, then spread NORTIG within 15 minutes;
  • to ceramic tiles apply a coat of PRIMER SOLPLAST.

Product Preparation

  • Thoroughly mix with a professional mixer before application.

Product Application

  • apply with a roller or a trowel one generous NORTIG coat;
  • immediately after, spread over the reinforcement layer (PL 100 or MAT 22) and impregnate it, to avoid bubbles entrapment;
  • then apply a second NORTIG coat.

Finish

  • apply a third NORTIG coat or NORPHEN PU.
