Description

MASCHERA is an aqueous dispersion based on low molecular weight oligomers and polymers with functional modification.

Usage field

MASCHERA is used as a protecting agent against stains caused by coloured cement mixes usually used to grout absorbent material (brick, stone) tiles.

The formulation is balanced so as to become and remain effective for a short time and allow tiles cleaning without compromizing grout adhesion.

MASCHERA does not alter in any way the appearance of the surface that retains its natural colour values ​​(transparent effect).

Application

The product must be applied to areas thoroughly cleaned from dust, dirt or other foreign material and that must not be necessarily dry.

The best way to apply it is to use a clean sponge soaked in the product, in order to prioritize the tiles top face treatment.

MASCHERA can be applied with a roller, flat brush or sprayer, making sure the tools used are perfectly clean. Any excess product (like drops from the sprayer nozzle) must be removed or immediately evenly spread with a cloth.

The product should be applied 4÷6 hours before grouting; it is better to clean the tiles when grout is still soft.

Warning and informations
  • Check in advance on a single tile any unforeseen incompatibilities.
  • When treating tiles made of a non perfectly homogeneous material, stains may initially start to appear due to differential absorption of the superficial layer; they will disappear a few hours later.
  • Work must be stopped in case of threat of rain, snow or fog and when the temperature is below +5°C.
  • Clean equipment thoroughly with WATER.
  • The product is not dangerous, nonetheless a Material Safety Data Sheet is available.
Preservation

12 months in original packaging, in a covered and dry place at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Protect from frost.
