FONDO FIL EXTRA is a highly fluid solvent-free two-component epoxy resin loaded with special aggregates that do not alter its viscosity.
• Component A: a mixture of liquid epoxy pre-polymers, additives and aggregates.
Component B is a mixture of co-polymerisation amines.
The mixed product appears like a fluid neutral grey mortar formulated for being used as an adhesion promoter (gripping primer) between the substrate and the subsequent top coats.FONDO FIL EXTRA can also be used as a binder for resin/quartz screeds or mortars.
FONDO FIL EXTRA is used as:
• Primer for substrate skim coating with or without quartz sand sprinkling, to be used in preparing the substrate before the application of resin coatings.
• Base coat on dry cement or wooden surfaces.
• A binder for castable mixes with quartz sand.
• A binder for epoxy screeds or mortars.
