TILEPUR BASE is a one-component product consisting of an alcoholic solution of pre-hydrolyzed adhesion promoters that react both with the substrate and with the product subsequently applied, favoring its attachment to the surface.
Due to its chemical-physical characteristics and its very low viscosity, TILEPUR BASE wets the substrate on which it is applied very well and dries quickly, shortening the times for subsequent over-applications.
TILEPUR BASE is not film-forming.
TILEPUR BASE is used as a specific non-film-forming adhesion promoter for the application of NORDPUR ESTERNI TRASPARENTE ADS and EXTRAGRIP (see Technical Data Sheets) to non-absorbent mineral substrates (tiles).
Due to its characteristics it is also recommended to promote the adhesion of reactive resins (water-based epoxy, solvent-free and solvent-free, water and solvent-based polyurethanes) and non-reactive resins on:
• polished natural stones;
• porcelain stoneware;
• single and double fired tiles;
• glass.
