Elastic waterproofing adhesive sealant

MS sealant with high waterproofing properties and “low modulus” elasticity, combined with exceptional tear resistance and strong adhesion.
BETONSEAL MS 2.0 is specifically formulated for sealing drive-over joints in tiled floors in factories where meat, cheese, vegetables, fish, etc. are processed, in which washes with high-pressure water jets are frequently carried out.

Description

NORDSIL AC is a pure silicone single-component sealant with acetic cross-linking, solvent-free, with low modulus of elasticity and high resistance to mould, yellowing, ageing and high and low temperatures (–60°C to +180°C).
BETONSEAL MS 2.0 cross-links rapidly and creates a highly elastic polymer that adheres perfectly to most supports without having to use primers or adhesion promoters.
BETONSEAL MS 2.0 has a marked resistance to UV rays and weathering, virtually zero shrinkage and permanent elasticity even after prolonged ageing at temperatures between –40°C and +100°C.

Field of use

Unlike most competitor products, BETONSEAL MS 2.0 is a sealant to which painting and waterproofing products applied in the liquid state adhere firmly.
This characteristic makes BETONSEAL MS 2.0 ideal for creating elastic fillets, treating joints and connecting building structures prior to the application of liquid waterproofing products such as:
• BETONGUAINA;
• BETONGUAINA.S;
• BETONGUAINA BASEMENT;
• NORTIG (all types);
• EASY-LAST 901;
• TRAFFIDECK;
• PU BASE.
BETONSEAL MS 2.0 is used for sealing expansion joints subject to movements of ±25% compared to the initial size.
In particular, BETONSEAL MS 2.0 can be used for:
• make elastic fillets on roofs, terraces and balconies, after treating the cement surface with NORPHEN FONDO IGRO (see Technical Sheet);
• realizzare il trattamento dei giunti di frazionamento e di dilatazione mediante creazione di bandelle elastomeriche senza armatura (su tetti, terrazzi e balconi);
• realizzare l’accoppiamento elastico di scossaline e grondaie in rame, lamiera zincata normale e preverniciata, acciaio inox di tutti i tipi, alluminio anodizzato previa pulizia da sostanze grasse e peciose con BETONSEAL CLEANER (vedi Scheda Tecnica);
• create fillets and couplings using plastic materials, after treating the support with a specific primer of the NORDPROM series (see Technical Sheets);
• sigillare i giunti di pareti esterne, i giunti perimetrali di finestre e porte nella costruzione di edifici, compresa la faccia interna;
• seal portholes, windows and glass panel;
• make glass-on-glass joints;
• bonding building materials on any type of metal surface.
