Description

HELASTON COLOR is a bi-component polyurethane product consisting of:
• Component A: a mixture of functionalised pre-polymers, pigments, additives and fillers.
• Component B: polyisocyanate.
HELASTON COLOR is applied (with or without reinforcement) on various types of surfaces to create a highly elastic, walk-over and abrasion-resistance waterproof layer.
HELASTON COLOR adheres on various types of materials, provided they are dry.
HELASTON COLOR withstands de-icing salt, UV rays and atmospheric agents.
HELASTON COLOR tends to yellow, for this reason, it is advisable to choose yellow/reddish colours or cover the finished surface with a thin layer of coloured TIPEWALL (see Technical Sheet).

Field of use

HELASTON COLOR is used to create waterproof and/or protective design coverings on:
• Surfaces subject to high foot traffic.
• Drive-over surfaces.
• Gymnasiums.
• Tennis courts.
• Multi-purpose sports fields.
Suitable supports for laying HELASTON COLOR include:
• Asphalt (on which it can be applied without priming).
• Concrete (with NORPHEN FONDO IGRO primer).
• Sand and cement screeds (with NORPHEN FONDO IGRO primer).
• Tiles of any type (with diamond-wheel grinding and NORPHEN FONDO IGRO primer).
• Resin membranes and/or paint (with NORDPROM SV primer).
